ON A PERSONAL NOTE...
Hi, I'm Leanne Jackson
I started my business to provide a space for
individuals to feel seen and heard and know they are not alone.
I’m a mother to two men and a Grammy to 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson
– so blessed!
I’m a crafter and enjoy getting messy and creative
I love the outdoors, living in beautiful New Zealand
I enjoy spending time with family and friends
Helping individuals and teams realise their potential and restore balance into their lives
Leanne is a very skilful communicator, thoroughly reliable and has very valuable knowledge of teaching and learning. I was extremely fortunate to connect with her through the Teaching Council’s Tuakana-Teina Mentoring Pilot programme. She is an excellent mentor, my practice flourished with her guidance and encouragement. She helped provide direction on my teaching as an inquiry project, gave thorough observation feedback and led excellent reflective discussions to support my practice.
My why
My role in Early Childhood Education teaching led me to mentoring/coaching where I developed a passion for helping others grow, develop their potential and to live a balanced life
I had the privilege of working with Leanne for 2 years, over this time she helped me to gain more depth and understanding around the induction and mentoring journey towards obtaining my full teaching registration. This journey was made easier being able to work with someone who is extremely knowledgeable, be it involving pedagogy, teaching strategies, current sector information, Teaching Standards, or just general advice.
I also enjoyed that Leanne provided a neutral space for discussion as she was based outside my centre, this meant her advice was based on experience and knowledge rather than the biases of the moment. This helped in many instances when I had uncertainty as it gave a clear direction forward.
